I promised more details on the Punktastic Event this week, so here they are! The event, which has not yet been named, will take place on Saturday, November 13 and Sunday, November 14 in Leeds and Birmingham respectively. There will be day-time ‘events’ on both days, as well as gigs in the evening. At least 8 bands will play over the weekend, with different bands at each date. I can confirm that hotly-tiiped Manchester lads The Maple State are confirmed for one of the days. Also, one of the day-time events will be the first ever Punktastic team-sport tournament and will involve a trophy for the winners. More details soon. The gigs will be held at the Leeds Packhorse and Birmingham Flax and Firkin and tickets will be around £4 per night. The capacity of the Leeds venue is around 100 and in Birmingham a little bigger.
