Last night London welcomed the annual Association of Independent Music (AIM) Awards. Taking place at the swanky The Brewery in the city’s East End, the event saw hosts Alice Levine and John Kennedy welcome a plethora of famous faces onto the stage from across a multitude of genres.
Alongside performances by Alvvays and grime artist MC Stormzy, sixteen awards were distributed over the course of the evening.
Notable winners included pop-rockers All Time Low picking up the Best Live Act award, and Enter Shikari being honoured for ‘The Mindsweep’ as Independent Album of the Year.
Other winners included the gloomy atmospheric Swans as Hardest Working Band or Artist, and Erased Tapes walking away as the Best Small Label.
