Crooked Noise Records Announce Themselves

By Mike Scott

Cambridge based label Crooked Noise Records have announced their launch today and revealed the first wave of signings to the roster. The label will be releasing a free download compilation EP on 26th May 2015 featuring a track from each of the artists. Amongst the first wave of bands to be announced on the CNR roster are Gloucester Punks BLACK ART, Merseyside alt-rock outfit F O E S, Banbury Metallers I Cried Wolf and ambient alternative quartet V / V E G A from Bedfordshire.

Founder Tom Newman has spoken about the label: β€œCrooked Noise Records was created out of a passion for truly independent music and helping to build sustainable careers for artists who aren’t afraid to put in the graft. Our first wave of bands is so diverse yet, to me, makes complete sense as we all share the same common set of values and goals. All four bands have killer releases dropping in 2015, so keep β€˜em peeled!”.
