Counterfeit reveal ‘Come Get Some’ and announce debut show

By Ben Tipple

Fans are perhaps more likely to recognise Counterfeit vocalist Jamie Campbell Bower as Caius in the movie adaptation of the Twilight series, or have heard his dulcet tones alongside Johnny Depp in 2007’s Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. Now, Bower is fronting a brand new punk trio from London.

Having revealed the track a few weeks back, Counterfeit have been enjoying acclaim from a rapidly expanding fan base. Continuing their momentum, the trio are now preparing to play their first ever live show at London’s O2 Academy Islington on the 18th December 2015.

“We are Counterfeit,” the band announced. “We’re super excited to share our first track with you all. We have put blood sweat and tears into making this record and we hope you like it. This is culmination of months of hard work and it means everything to us that we finally get to put it out there. This is the most personal thing I have ever put out or shown anyone.”

“Our entire record consists of songs written from the heart and our own experience. There are no punches pulled for us. We are Counterfeit. Together We Are Stronger,” they concluded.

Alongside Jamie Bower, Counterfeit is completed by Tristan Marmont and Roland Johnson.
