Consumed have decided to call it a day. A statement on their website reads: “As some of you may have already heard, Consumed is indeed splitting up. Basicly we felt that our time as ‘unluckiest band in the world’ was over and that we should pass on that particular crown to another unfortunate group of youngsters. We really appreciate the support you guys have shown us, through coming to a gig, buying a t-shirt or copying an album from one of your mates. Expect a final chapter in the history of Consumed from Chris appearing on the bio page anytime soon. Suffice to say we have had a total blast! Thanks! We are going to be doing a small selection of shows before we finally throw in the towel so if you can make it to any of them it would be awesome!” The band tour in October before a December farewell gig in Nottingham.
