Coheed & Cambria have unveiled a music video for their excellent track ‘Island’. It is the latest single to be lifted from their album ‘The Colour Before The Sun’, which was released last year to critical acclaim.
The video itself is said to be inspired by the forthcoming superhero face-off, ‘Batman Vs Superman’. Frontman Claudio Sanchez has likened it to the relationship between him and his wife. “When I think of these two iconic characters, I think of opposite attraction,” he told People, who premiered the video. “We couldn’t be anymore different, but yet we’re so attracted to one another, and we work so well together that that’s what I thought it was like – because I feel like they probably work really well together.”
