Boy Jumps Ship have signed to Amazing Record Co, the new independent label by The Amazing Media Group.
“We’re beyond excited to announce that we’ve signed to Amazing Record Co,” the band confirm. “We can’t wait to work with a label who are as enthusiastic and as passionate about our band as we are. Massive thank you to everyone who has supported us since day one. Time to work even harder, here’s to the future.”
“At Amazing, we love finding bands early and helping them all the way,” adds Amazing CEO Paul Campbell. “Our list of discoveries is pretty long now – Daughter, Chvrches, Haim, London Grammar – all bands we played on the radio before anyone else in the world.”
“We launched the label earlier this year to help musicians all the way from their first recordings to global acclaim. Boy Jumps Ship are another band we played from the very start and they are destined for huge things. It’s a nice plus that, like us, they are Geordies. The guys are truly amazing and we’re thrilled to be working with them.”
Boy Jumps Ship are working with Larry Hibbit (Hundred Reasons, Marmozets, Nothing But Thieves) on their debut album, due in early 2016.
Until then, the band are currently on the road alongside Only Rivals, before playing dates with Young Guns up until the end of the month.
