Those left disappointed by Mastodon’s recent cancellation of live appearances are in for a late Sunday evening treat, as the Atlanta progressive metal outfit are confirmed as the first Bloodstock 2016 headliners.
“Since day one, nobody has embraced Mastodon better than the UK has. Thank you for inviting us to our first festival headlining slot at Bloodstock 2016! We will not disappoint,” Troy Sanders comments.
The event, which takes place from the 11th until the 14th August 2015, has already confirmed Venom and Behemoth playing ‘The Satanist’ in full. The second headliner is expected to be announced this coming week.
