Attention Thieves call it a day

By Ben Tipple

Sad news as Attention Thieves call it a day. Taking the Facebook, the band released a statement claiming that the difficult decision had come at the right time.

“It is with great sadness that we, as a band, have decided to call it a day. It’s a tough and somewhat painful decision, but ultimately the right one at this time,” the statement reads.

“We would just like to say thank you to everyone who’s helped us along the way, been a part of the team, recorded us, produced us or booked us for a show! Special mention must got to Stevie D & Barley, who really made a lot of what we’ve done possible.”

“We also would like to say a huge thank you to all the family, friends and fans who’ve supported us along the way! We really do appreciate it more than most of you will ever know!”

The band will be playing a farewell show on the 12th February at Reading’s Sub89, joined by Max Raptor and more to be announced.

“This is the last AT party and its gonna be wild, so don’t miss out,” the statement concludes.

It’s a great shame to wave goodbye to Attention Thieves, and we wish all the members the best in the future with whatever endeavours they undertake.
