Art Is Hard Records (based in Plymouth and Weymouth) have detailed a new project for 2012 called ‘The Bi-Weekly 5″ Pizza Club’, which will see the label attempt to put out a release, erm, bi-weekly over 2012, making 26 releases in a year.
It will see the label put a song onto their Bandcamp page for download each other Friday and make a suggestion of a pizza recipe to go with it. Each release will be a 5″ pizza box, containing a 5″ pizza CD that pertains to the single that is released that week. Defining “limited”, each release will be limited to one, and the first person to order gets the one and only copy.
For ‘PIZZAIH01’, the label have posted Boscome/Bournemouth based surf/grunge BOS ANGELES‘ cover of KEEL HER’s ‘(I hate it) When you Look at Me’. You can listen to the track using the player below:
