Derek from Defeater’s alter-ego Alcoa has expanded to an official band – and they are in the studio now writing album number two (the follow up to 2013’s ‘Bone & Marrow’. We have been promised that ‘while ‘Bone & Marrow’ explored a lot of alt-country territory, this new LP will see Archambault letting his rock and pop influences shine through’. Intriguing.
