In only its third year but already a hugely important part of the calendar, the Heavy Music Awards held their annual ceremony at London’s o2 Forum last week Kentish Town, just before Reading and Leeds Festivals – and the packed event, hosted by Laura Jane Grace, saw some fantastic names recognised for their incredible work over the last year.

Featuring performances from Cancer Bats, Loathe, Nova Twins, and Delaire The Liar, the night included a double accolade for leading Brit metalcore group Architects as they picked up ‘Best Album’ for ‘Holy Hell’, as well as the ‘Best Live Band’ award.
