This is going to be a really mean review, but I guess a few lines is better than nothing, right? Zapped By A Million Volts play a brand of NME-esque angular rock that sounds tinny, but it’s just not my thing at all. Previous reviewers have compared them to Bloc Party and I guess that’s maybe an apt description – but I don’t particularly like them either. The five tracks on this demo all sound samey and repetitive, but then what do I know? Very little, clearly. I doubt this will appeal to the majority of the Punktastic audience, but if you feel obliged they have tracks to listen to at their website…
