A short review as this is more indie-pop than something Punktastic would usually cover. Still, Your Army could well make a name for themselves with a clutch of catchy tunes and a very charismatic and energetic singer in Lucy; while more than a few journalists will pick up on the fact she’s easy on the eye, her real talent is a soulful voice which stands out above a generic backing of talented bandmates who don’t do anything to separate them from the myriad of other bands doing similar things. The vocals are very well done and bring each song to life, taking this band from average into good territory. Whether they can turn casual listeners like myself into fans is another thing – but with the right backing (and sadly focusing the image on the singer) this band could do well.
