This is a bizarre release, featuring the original version of ‘Come All You Weary’ and then two remixes. Sandwiched inbetween the two double album releases it’s an odd time to release a digital EP, but then I guess fans clamour for all things Thrice and this three-tracker will be welcomed I’m sure. I can’t say it’s all that great a package mind, there’s no cohesion and the DEP remix of ‘Digital Sea’ is strange at best – merely the track played with a collection of odd drum n bass bits at the end. But then I guess this was always going to be aimed at fans and completists rather than the passing listener. Both of the recent double releases are better than this EP, but it’s worth checking out out of curiousity if nothing else.
