I’m going to sum this album up in one very easy sentence.
Flogging Molly do it much better.
The long and short of it is The Tossers are perfectly acceptable cetic-influenced punk rock and their songs are catchy, but there’s little originality here and FM have already nailed this type of music. The instrumental ‘The Sheep In the Boots’ and ‘Siobhan’ are decent enough songs, but I listen to ‘Agony’ and all I can think about is sticking on a Flogging Molly CD instead. And I guess that’s not really a good thing. Sorry.
