After 80 seconds of ‘Wasted’, I thought my stereo was on the blink, because during the middle of the song the sound levels seemed to be dropping off. Further inspection, and several attempts at fixing the volume knob, revealed that the song actually fades out during the middle of the second verse – for no apparent reason. So I pressed skip and went through to the second song, ‘A Page From Your Diary’, and the same thing happened again. And again on ‘Numb’ and ‘For Now’.
Now maybe I’ve missed the point somewhere, but why the hell would you send in a CD filled full of half-songs? Surely you want to try and get your music out there – it’s not like your Metallica and want to stop people downloading your material for free! (‘Cos let’s face it, no-one is going to want to download this piece of shit.) Ironically, the chorus of ‘Numb’ repeats the line ‘I Feel Nothing’ – which is exactly how I feel having listened to this extremely bizarre concoction. The vocals are poor, the drums extrenely basic and the recording quality sounds like it was done on a tape player in a basement. It’s just plain bad, sorry kids…
