I’ll be honest, this just isn’t really my thing. I’ve heard the band before and gave them 2/5 and my opinion hasn’t really changed that much. This EP is half a dozen songs of, well, pop-punk I guess. It’s kind of genre-less I suppose, it’s just instruments thrown together with bad backing vocals and poor production. I guess they’re having fun doing it, which is the whole point, but it’s not that much fun listening to ‘Under The Thumb‘ which has some of the worst vocals I’ve heard in a while.
Sorry guys, good luck with the release and I hope it works out but this just isn’t ever going to win me over.
