The Dead Class – Boo

By paul

There’s something a bit Hives-y about The Dead Class – they are a band that seems to have a foot in the punk door and another in the rock ‘n’ roll door, a band that fuses two different genres, as others have done before them, and come out as not really mastering either. The Ramones are an influence, there’s a bit of Razorlight without the polish in here too. And if that sounds like an appealing mix, then ‘Boo’ is probably the record for you. It’s full of catchy dittys that beg for handclaps, without the band ever wanting to sing about America.

And ladies and gentlemen, that’s officially a very good thing.
