Maybe I just don’t ‘get’ Nuse. Maybe I’m missing something blatant which will change my opinion of this band. The thing is, I listen to ‘Hungwell’ and I hear mediocre Sick of it All riffs with a metal edge, but I hear the same riffs in the same style over 12 songs. And it’s not as if any of the riffs are that good in the first place. Chuck over some plodding drums and a vocal which bores the crap out of me and you have a band that, well, had me reaching for the stop button within the first half a dozen tracks. It’s just generic and, even then, not done to a particularly high standard.
