I could write reams and reams saying how good this record is, but it would be a waste of everyone’s time. The simple facts are that Mike TV are the best pop-punk band in the UK right now and this is one of the best UK releases of the year. The boys seem to have a knack of writing harmonies and melodies that are sweeter than anything around right now and while everyone goes on about the Green day influence, the guys are a little too chipper for a direct comparison. Anyway, they even have the balls to write a song called ‘American idols’. Tongues in cheeks lads?
