March Her To Norway feature Ewan, formerly of Not Katies, and this band is reminiscent of NK for those who can remember them. This four track EP has driving rock riffs and melodic vocals and choruses and it’s pretty good for what it is. It doesn’t re-invent the wheel and, truth be told, there are better bands doing similar things, but it’s a decent listen. ‘The Rat Must Die’ sets things off well – the track is energetic and the vocal hook is memorable. I’ll admit I wasn’t as keen on second track ‘This Heart’, but the record picks up again for ‘Save Me’ and the darker ‘Cute As A Button’.
This EP is worth a listen. The band are on the right lines and while it’s not perfect, a lot of PT-ers would enjoy it given half a chance.
