Maybe mysterious forces are at work, but I just penned a review for this and my system crashed meaning the whole thing diappeared to the murky depths of the review graveyard in the sky. I really can’t be bothered to repeat what I said at length, so here are a few pointers:
* You can’t polish a turd – not even Iain Wetherell can save this record from being less use than a chocolate fireguard.
* The singing is shit – Why won’t someone tell a singer they can’t hit the notes, rather than be publically embarrassed every time they try?
* Always make your words fit the music – Some of the lines on ‘Save Me’ are bad. Very, very bad.
This disc doesn’t desrve much more to be honest. It’s rubbish. Nice website though, pity that much effort wasn’t put into these five songs…
