Look! I’m A Ghost – A Life Aquatic

By paul

Like Tellison, The Maple State and A Broken Robot? Love Look! I’m A Ghost. It’s that simple really. This four-tracker is a very chirpy and chipper affair with choppy guitars and vocal melodies a la the bands mentioned above. It’s nothing hugely new but it’s done to a decent standard and I can see a lot of people enjoying them. The water-theme of the EP and artwork continues into the songs and the finale, ‘All Along The Waterfront’, is the best song here by a country mile, suggesting the band could well be on the way to better things. I’m not sure who the female vocalist is on that track, but she adds a hell of a lot and makes the song a joy to listen to. L!IAG may not be quite there yet, but they are on the right lines and with some hard work could be ones to keep an eye on.
