KMO – Guns/Chicks/Explosions

By paul

Where do they dig these bands up from? CRAP. CRAP. CRAP. STOP SENDING ME SUCH CRAP. ‘Guns/Chicks/Explosions’ is so predictably rubbish it actually physically hurts. That’s probably only because I snapped the CD in my hand and it cut the tip of my finger. Ooops.

‘Nude Law’ is appalling and utterly confusing, switching from seventh-rate pop-punk to squally metal solos to a kind of emo hybrid in the blink of an eye. None of it’s any cop mind. A bit like this EP as a whole – it’s another run-of-the-mill, could-be-any-local-band-from-any-town set of young lads with aspirations of making it big. Sorry kids, keep on dreaming – on the basis of this turgid piece of shit, dreaming’s about as close as you’ll ever get.
