I enjoyed the demo Hey Vampires sent me previously and it seemed so did others as Two Tick Records swiftly picked them up and this EP is the result of their combined efforts. As the demo was this is an aggressive little beast which is full of passion and fury and this makes it sound interesting and exciting. There’s a little Refused-esque ball of energy to the tracks here, with the title track arguably the standout song. The vocals are angry and shouty but in a good way, while the guitars and drums combined nicely to create a bit of a background din. Hey Vampires are certainly a bright light doing interesting things and a full-length will be highly anticipated here at PT Towers.
