Fight Fair – Settle The Score

By paul

Following a fairly successful EP release Triple Crown (the former home of Brand New and also home to Hit The Lights) snapped up Fight Fair and this is their debut release on the label. If you like bands such as Four Year Strong, The Wonder Years and All Time Low then you’ll love Fight Fair. They mix up all the poppy bits of a Blink 182 and throw in harder bits of a FYS – there are synths, breakdowns, riffs, shouty bits and lots of singalongs thrown into the mix too. ‘Beachfront Ave’ and ‘Brain Freeze’ are catchy as Hell, the latter especially which will have you singing, tapping and doing lots of other things ending with -ing.

Fight Fair won’t shake you to your core but they will make you sing and dance. And for a genre of music that is based on doing two such things you cannot ask for much more.
