It’s very rare Deep Elm get it wrong so it’s no surprise that Desoto Jones are excellent. ‘Auorar’ is a great record, full of anthemic rock songs that hit hard yet have huge hooks and chrouses. With a Jimmy Eat World/Saves The Day/Foo Fighters-esque pop-rock sound, this record is literally 10 slices of insanely catchy emo rock that will quite literally blow your socks clean off. I’m cutting this review short so I can listen to it again – I suggest you get your copy now.
