I honestly have no idea where to start reviewing this lot. Mixing up elements of about every genre of music ever created, they’re completely madcap and fun, but at times a little messy. Although kudos for writing a song about football (‘ANWE FC’). I gues you could say And Know We’re Even sound a little like a British Smash Mouth – vocally there are certainly elements in there during ‘Slackers Manifesto’. And it ultimately leaves a very fun sound that will have you tapping along in little to no time at all. It’s just…well, it’s just not really my thing. And while I can appreciate the fact this band are a lot of fun and pretty good at what they do (and I can imagine the live show is an absolute riot), it’s not something I’d go back and listen to repeatedly. Still, well worth checking out if you want an instant smile…
