Paul You’ve been relatively quiet by the band’s The Stay Gones – Demo Love it or hate it, gruff punk is popular right now and The Stay Gones are riding the wave of the current gruff punk movement. I say current, they owe quite a lot to Hot Water Music in places, but then I guess most of Punchline – Delightfully Pleased Punchline are the nearly men of the pop-punk scene. They’re nearly your favourite band, they’ve nearly written an amazing album several times, they nearly made it bigger by flirting with Fueled By Ramen…it just seems as though the band have been so close to achieving something
