The Separation – Retire Your Engines The Separation remind me a bit of Faith No More brought up on a diet of early 2000s emo rock. There’s something in the vocals, particularly the delivery, that reminds of Mike Patton. And there’s something in the off-kilter song structures which reminds me of that too. It’s so old the band have actually gone on and changed their name – and from the sound of the new band, refined their sound a bit too.
