JEW wish their girlfriends were hot like mine Jimmy Eat World v The Pussycat Dolls? www.myspace.com/jimmyeatworld has it all… Wednesday 02 August 2006 The Appleseed Cast – Peregrine Post-rock is a personal toughie – on one hand I can appreciate the musicianship and skill that goes into a lot of the genre’s defining pieces, but on the other hand I cannot get over the fact that a lot of records in this particular Disarm – EP Okay, so I’m going to go with one of the weirdest comparisons I’ve ever gone with. Work with me here, people. This band sounds like a cross between Therapy? and Hole. Seriously. I don’t know if anyone else in the world will pick up on this, but I can Leaf Fat – Underworld Kingdom 1. Weird band name. Unless it’s some Slovenian cuss on my mother’s name or something. 2. They sound like Lost Prophets/lostprophets/whatever. 3. THERE IS NO THREE. It’s difficult to start sounding off here without coming across as slightly racist towards our eastern/central European cousins, but ah These arms are one-offs These Arms Are Snakes play the Underworld in Camden on August 8. That’s all respect for that band gone out the window… Sherwood have signed to Myspace Records.
