The Smash Up – Untreatable

You cannot deny that The SmashUp have plenty of talent, but there’s something about this album I just don’t like too much. Fusing traditional post-hardcore sounds (Sal Villanueva of TBS/Thursday fame produced this) with more manic, ballsy Foo Fighters/System of a Down

This All Time Low – S/T

Hailing from Chester and claiming to be inspired by a mash-up of AFI and Hot Water Music, This Alltime Low aren’t too bad a being. There’s some aggressive guitar, some forceful vocals and despite all the angryness, there’s plenty of melody buried deep underneath too.

I love this band more than I love my mum
