No more words needed. The Mercury League‘s debut release proper, ‘La Libertad No Es Un Show’, is the best thing I’ve heard all year. The Mercury League have pulled the rabbit out of the hat and come up with one of the finest collections of melodic hardcore to have here come the remix. There’s a nifty remix of Phinius Gage‘s new track ‘Broken Wings’ up here. It’s a really interesting mix of big ol’ guitars and a beat large enough to stun a small horse – check it out. Yellowcard+Dixie Chicks = all new levels of wrong Remember Yellowcard announced they were collaborating with a US act that had sold 50 million albums on the band’s latest disc, Lights and Sounds? That band is the Dixie Chicks, according to ap.net… Shortcut to Goldfinger? God knows if this is true, but AP.net claim John Feldman (Goldfinger) has been working with the UK’s Shortcut to Newark.
