Lincoln’s The Decomposers are set to make their mark with their debut ‘Born Out Of Silence’ release on the 6th May, a collection of songs melting rock and roll swagger with their indie charm. They take influence from the faster paced moments of Manchester Orchestra, a comparison in part fuelled by vocalist and guitarist Matt Belton’s distinctive tones.
‘Blood Runs Cold’, the latest track to appear from the record following last month’s ‘Therapy‘, provides another example of their melodic prowess that sure packs a punch.
“The song is about how humans can react to each other when relationships turn sour,” Belton explains. “Before we went to record the EP none of actually liked this song that much and so we scrapped the lyrics completely, revisiting some old lyrics which totally transformed the song.”
‘Born Out Of Silence’ will be available from the 6th May, with The Decomposers set to play a release show alongside Tellison, Bad Ideas and Real Talk.
