Nothington have also announced their final UK and European tour dates. They’ll be appearing throughout the month of November in the UK, Germany, Switzerland, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, and Italy. After this tour, there will only be a few final farewell shows in 2019, so Matulich invites fans to come hang.

Legendary Punks Swingin’ Utters have a new video – it’s a lyric video for the title track from their late 2014 album ‘Fistful of Hollow’.

The band have a shed load of European dates coming up too, including the UK. See this enormous list of shows.

Fat Wreck mainstays Swingin’ Utters have premiered a track from their upcoming album ‘Fistful of Hollow’. The album is out on November 11th and pre-orders are already up on the Fat Wreck site. The track is called ‘I’m Not Coming Home’. On the track, guitarist Darius said:
“The inspiration for this song comes from the Ramones, who I ripped off, entirely and probably pretty obviously. I basically wrote ‘Carbona not glue’, realized what I did, and just figured I might as well write a Ramones style song, just not completely rip them off like I did originally. I think it fits on the record just like everything we do somehow fits on each of our records, and that it’s of a different style than some of the other songs… Kind of, oh, I don’t know, like the Ramones?”

Swingin’ Utters’ Darius described the plans for the bands around the release of the record:

“Our new record was written pretty quickly, more so than anything we’ve done in the past. One of the reasons, I think, was that Jack had several songs in various stages of completeness, but once he decided to give Johnny the music, and have Johnny write the lyrics and vocal melody to his instrumentation, things started to fly… So there are several of these Johnny/Jack songs on the record (which marks the first songs Jack’s written with us). In that way, it was a brand new writing process for us, so it was pretty exciting, and we’re really happy with the way all of these songs came out in the end. Mixing with Chris Dugan was an added bonus, and we really hope we can work with him again! We’ll be on the west coast in March, as well as a few NoCal record release shows in late February. We’re planning on hitting everywhere else in the US (and Canada too!) by the end of the summer. We’re going to Australia with Frank Turner and the Dropkick Murphys for a few days in early April (our first time on that continent!), and heading to Europe in July. Hopefully Japan sometime in the fall.”
