Doyle announces ‘As We Die World Abomination tour’ for 2018

Legendary Misfits Guitarist Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein will be launching the ‘As We Die World Abomination Tour 2018’ this Spring. Beginning February 21st in Clifton, NJ, the tour winds through North America before crossing to the UK March 26th in Birmingham, England, and will later move through Russia before finishing up on April 9th in St. Petersburg, Russia with KILLUS and DeadXll will be joining on the UK and Russia leg.

So what can fans expect at a Doyle show?

“To get fucking pummeled, man. And then go home and ask themselves ‘What the fuck just happened to me?!?’, hahaha…”

Original Misfits members to reunite to headline Riot Fest

We never thought we’d post about this, but Glenn Danzig, Jerry Only and long-time guitarist Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein are to perform on stage together as The Original Misfits, to headline Riot Fest & Rodeo in Denver, CO (September 2-4, 2016) and Riot Fest & Carnival in Chicago, IL (September 16-18, 2016). It marks the first time sharing a stage since 1983. Although there’s no news of any further shows at this stage, this could be the beginning of something VERY interesting…

Misfits announce new EP, ‘Friday the 13th’

Legendary horror-punks Misfits will be releasing a new four track EP on the 17th June, entitled ‘Friday the 13th’. Fittingly, the record will be available to pre-order from this Friday… the 13th.

All four tracks have been written by founding member, vocalist, bassist and devilocked Jerry Only as an homage to 80’s slashers and sci-fi movies. The release will be accompanied by art illustrated by Jeff Zornow.

Those pre-ordering the record from Friday will receive the title-track instantly. The offer will also be available on iTunes.

Fright-Rags to release limited edition Misfits t-shirts

Horror apparel specialists Fright Rags have joined forced with scream-punks Misfits in order to release a pair of limited edition t-shirts. The tops picture fake movie posters based on the band’s recorded material.

Each t-shirt is complete with the iconic Misfits fiend.

Both designs are available on apparel (t-shirts, girls shirts and zip-up hoodies), limited to 400, and as 18×24 screen printed posters, limited to 150.

Pre-orders for both are available until Thursday 17th April, or until they are sold out.
