Face to Face announce new book, ’25 Years of SoCal Punk: A Visual History’

Face to Face have announced that they will be releasing a new book entitled ’25 Years of SoCal Punk: A Visual History’.

Compiled by the band’s longtime fan Aaron Tanner, it features various set lists, pictures, stories, and memories from the likes of Tim McIlrath, Roger Lima and more. It will be released this December and can be pre-ordered here. All pre-orders will come with a previously unreleased song, entitled ‘Self-Determined’.

Face to Face’s latest record is their 2016 ninth album ‘ Protection’ on Fat Wreck Chords.

Teenage Bottlerocket have premiered a video for their cover of The Punchlines’ ‘Why the Big Pause’ at Uproxx.

It is featured on the Wyoming pop punks’ upcoming new album, ‘Stealing the Covers’. The record sees the band covering songs by various small and underground bands they’ve played with over their career. It will be released on the 14th July via Fat Wreck Chords.

They will also be playing the following UK shows this August.

Teenage Bottlerocket to release new 7″, ‘Goin Back to Wyo’

Teenage Bottlerocket have announced the release of their upcoming new two track 7″, ‘Goin’ Back to Wyo’.

Featuring two new original songs, this will be released on 14th July alongside the band’s upcoming covers album, ‘Stealing the Covers’. Both records will be put out by Fat Wreck Chords. You can view the Wyoming pop punks’ rendition of Sprocket Nova’s ‘RoboCop Is a Halfbreed Sellout’ from the album below.

Face to Face release video for new song, ‘Say What You Want’

Face to Face recently unveiled a video for their new song, ‘Say What You Want’, at Uproxx.

The track is taken from an upcoming double A-side single, which also features a previously unreleased song from their recording sessions for 2016 ninth album ‘Protection’, entitled ‘I, Me, Mine’. This will be released on the 5th May via Fat Wreck Chords and will coincide with the Cali punks’ 25th anniversary.

The band will also be playing the following UK shows this August with Pennywise, Good Riddance and Teenage Bottlerocket.

Teenage Bottlerocket announce new covers album, ‘Stealing the Covers’

Teenage Bottlerocket have announced that they’ll be releasing a new album, entitled ‘Stealing the Covers’, on the 14th July.

The record’s title is in reference to it being a covers album. The Wyoming pop punks will be covering tracks from various small and underground bands they’ve played with over their career. It follows up their 2015 sixth album ‘Tales from Wyoming’ and will be their first release following their re-signing to Fat Wreck Chords earlier this year. You can view the announcement video for it below.

The band will also be playing the following UK shows this August with Pennywise, Face to Face and Good Riddance.

Teenage Bottlerocket to open for Pennywise at London headline show

Teenage Bottlerocket have been confirmed to open for Pennywise at their upcoming headline show at the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire in London on the 4th August.

They’ll also be joining Good Riddance and Face to Face on the bill. The show precedes all four bands’ appearances at Blackpool’s Rebellion Festival, which takes place from the 3rd to the 6th August.

The Wyoming punks recently re-signed to Fat Wreck Chords to work on their follow up to 2015’s ‘Tales from Wyoming’, which is due for a summer release.

Pennywise announce London headline show with Good Riddance and Face to Face

Pennywise have announced that they’ll be playing an exclusive headline show at O2 Sherpherds Bush Empire in London on Friday 4th August.

Joining the band are Good Riddance and Face to Face. This will coincide with all three bands’ appearances at Rebellion Festival in Blackpool, which takes place from the 3rd to the 6th August.

Face To Face share the video for ‘Double Crossed’

Face to Face have unveiled the official video for ‘Double Crossed’. The clip features alternative magician Christopher Wonder performing a number of tricks in-between footage of the band.

“I got the idea to have Christopher Wonder to appear after watching his show at Ink n Iron in Nashville last year,” says frontman Trever Keith to Alternative Press, who premiered the video. “It was really great to pull all of these talents together for what I think is a unique and compelling music video.

‘Double Crossed’ is taken from Face to Face’s recent ‘Protection’ LP.

Californian punks Face To Face are streaming ‘Protection’ in full ahead of release. It marks the band’s 25 anniversary, returning to Fat Wreck Chords for distribution. Having released their ‘Don’t Turn Away’ debut on the label, ‘Protection’ marks their ninth studio album to date.

Speaking to The Big Takeover, who premiered the record, the band will be celebrating their anniversary with special vinyl releases of earlier material.
