Dowsing have parted ways with drummer Will Lange following allegations of sexual assault. The band took to Facebook to address the situation with the following statement:

London emo trio Sad Blood have announced a short run of UK shows for next weekend.

The shows lead up to their set at Glasgow based mini fest Strugglefest on the 1st October with Dowsing, Ratboys, Losing Sleep and more.

The band released their latest EP ‘Legion of Gloom’ back in May.

Weddings announce debut EP, ‘Inside Shapes’

London indie pop band Weddings have announced the release of their debut EP, ‘Inside Shapes’.

The EP will be available on cassette on the 14th October via Barely Regal Records. You can exclusively hear ‘It’s You Not Me’, the first delightful track to be unveiled from the record, over at DIY.

The quintet will also be playing Sudden Death II at DIY Space for London on the 24th September with the likes of Dowsing, Donovan Wolfington, Ratboys and more. Additionally, they’ll also be making an appearance at A Carefully Planned Festival in Manchester on the 14th October.

Broadbay announce short UK tour

Brighton/Northampton trio Broadbay have announced a short run of UK shows for the end of this month.

The tour surrounds their appearance at Strugglefest at the Audio in Glasgow on the 1st October with the likes of Dowsing, Ratboys, Losing Sleep and more.

The indie rockers released their latest EP, ‘Living Room’, on Struggletown Records earlier this year.

Strugglefest 2016 have confirmed Sad Blood, Broadbay, Get It Together and Lovers Turn to Monsters to be the final additions to the line up.

They’ll be joining Dowsing, Ratboys, Losing Sleep, Anna’s Anchor, Jutland Songs, Flakes and Benjamin Blue for the Glasgow based all-dayer.

It will take place at the Audio in Glasgow on Saturday 1st October. Advance tickets cost £10 and are available now on the Struggletown Records website.

Megaflora release new song and announce mini-album

London indie pop band Megaflora have released a video for their new song ‘We’re Not There’ over at Musicology.

It is taken from their upcoming mini-album, ‘Redwoods’, which is due for release on the 28th October. You can pre-order the record on their bandcamp page.

The band have a couple of upcoming shows so far, including an appearance at Sudden Death II at DIY Space for London on the 24th September, an all-dayer whose line up also includes Dowsing, Ratboys, Donovan Wolfington, and many more.

Strugglefest 2016 have confirmed the first seven bands in their initial line up announcement.

The mini-fest is due to take place at Audio in Glasgow on Saturday 1st October. Advance tickets are available for purchase now on the Struggletown Records website at £10.

The first seven out of twelve bands to be announced include the following: Dowsing, Ratboys, Losing Sleep, Jutland Songs, Anna’s Anchor, Flakes, and Benjamin Blue.
