Propagandhi, Wonk Unit, The Bennies, Antillectual, Pizzatramp, Darko, Svetlanas, Nervus, Mobina Galore, Egos At the Door, Throwing Stuff, Natterers, Captain Hotknives, Uniforms, The Minor Discomfort Band, Drones, All Aboard!, Aerial Salad, Fresh, Christmas, Spoilers, Wolfbeast Destroyer, Regret, Rotten Foxes, Forever Unclean, Foxes Faux, Shankland, Incisions and The Lab Rats will play the Manchester based festival from the 19th to the 21st April 2018. More acts shall be added soon.

The event will take place across various Manchester venues including Gorilla, Rebellion, The Bread Shed, Zombie Shack, Underdog, Font and The Thirsty Scholar. Advance tickets cost £40 and can be purchased here. Keep a tab on their Facebook for future updates.

The video features footage from the band’s South American tour with Satanic Surfers earlier this year. The track itself is taken from their fourth album, ‘Engage!’, which was released last year on Waterslide Records (JAP), Redfield Records (NL) and Bird Attack Records (US).

Playing to punters at the Just Like Your Mom vegan food stall, Dutch punk-rockers Antillectual took to Mom’s Living Room for a very special intimate performance.

“The song deals with the racism that is still omnipresent in our culture, sports, traditions, policies, etc,” the band explain. “A big obstacle in overcoming this is the inability of people to accept that a statement or action without a racist intention can nonetheless have a racist implication. The bullheaded idea that one can perfectly judge a situation one is part of oneself, is another big obstacle. Racism is not an opinion or an ideology, it’s a crime to be convicted or a disease to be cured at best. Don’t let patients diagnose their own case.”

The video was filmed by Harko Wubs, a director and producer of political documentaries.

‘Engage!’ is available to pre-order now, due for release on the 29th July.

“Of course there is still that typical Antillectual flavor,” the band announce. “Yet, you will find that new toppings and deeper layers have been added, which you will discover after taking some more bites from the new Antillectual pizza.”

The trio are also hinting at a number of guest vocal appearances on the record, due for release on the 29th July via Redfield Records (EU), Waterslide Records (Asia) and Fusa Records (South America).

Antillectual are also teasing new track ‘Racist Rash’, due to be unveiled on the 23rd May alongside record pre-orders.

Netherlands Punk mainstays Antillectual are working on a new album – and have set the expectations high with this statement released today:
“We are working on new material. It is just not going to be “another new album”. To raise the bar we are taking a completely new approach. As the result of months of songwriting, making demos, scratching parts out and adding new parts on repeat we have 19 demos. 10-12 Songs will make the album. To perfect the process we are teaming up with Martin Beusker from Mailmen Studio (Only Seven Left, Dotan) and Robin van Loenen (Destine, PollyAnna, The 101’s) for the pre-production of this album. Jochem Jacobs at Split Second Sound (Textures, Face Tomorrow, Ali B, Guus Meeuwis) will be recording, mixing and mastering the whole. This dream team covers the loud music area from left to right, from poppy to obscure. Songs are more fine-tuned than before; even more thought and effort is being put in. All to make sure we don’t just make NEW songs, but BETTER songs than ever before. Not faster, BETTER. Not louder, BETTER. Not more poppy, BETTER. Hell yeah, we’re excited about this one! The release is scheduled for the end of 2015, more updates to follow.”

Dutch skate-punks Antillectual are showcasing their brand new video for ‘Pink Print’ via PureVolume. The track is taken from ‘Perspectives and Objectives’, released last year.

The video sees them being surrounded by a group of Roller Derby girls to support the message of the track – promoting equality for women in our modern society.
