You have to hand it to Hopeless/Sub City. Their work for charity is admirable and putting out quality records such as this and raising funds at the same time is always worthy of your time. 'Change' benefits the Hot Topic Foundation and is only available online and in Hot Topic stores. A CD/DVD
collection, it offers 21 tracks on CD and a mammoth 17 videos from some of the best metal/hardcore bands around today. And while, at times, this release does sound a little 'scene', it's heart is definitely in the right place.
There are some stellar tracks on here which makes it more than worth your time and money. Silverstein, Gallows, Aiden, Converge and Saosin are some of the heavyweight acts donating their music to such a good cause. And while some of these songs have been heard before - if you're a fan of these bands then chances are you will have heard these songs on other releases - it acts as a good reminder and as an excellent starting point for a family member or loved one at Christmas. And even if YouTube hosts the vast majority of these videos, the DVD is a decent watch and a lot of fun. Pick this up cheap and support a good cause at the same time.
