This is fucking brilliant! Mix up NoComply with Capdown and you're not a million miles away from Beat The Red Light. This five-song EP, recorded with Iain Wetherell, is fresh sounding, aggressive and really hits fucking hard. It's a lovely surprise. Describing themselves as 'Metalliska' there's certainly a heavy influence, similar to the way NoComply where going, but there's a brass influence with references the likes of Capdown or Voodoo Glow Skulls too. Throw in some really catchy melodies - which may or may not be there on purpose - and you have an inventive band who try and do something a little bit different.

As a nine-piece there's always going to be a hell of a lot to record, but the chaos is most certainly organised and each track has plenty of character. Not overdoing the vocals, the songs have plenty of time to get going instrumentally before the aggression really kicks in. And if you didn't want to dance beforehand, you will once these songs get into full flow.

For a relatively unknown band, and certainly a band I haven't seen mentioned on Punktastic before, this High Wycombe mob are a real breath of fresh air. Listen, rock the fuck out and enjoy.
