The Respect Issue, Emmure
On the evidence of this album Emmure do not make music. This release is comprised of ten songs that sound exactly the same, the same barked ‘vocals’ over the same generic metalcore, chugga-chugga guitar parts, meaning that listening to even one song is a task. We have all heard this type of dross before but this album is one of the worst examples that I have had the displeasure of hearing. Do not put yourself through it.

Victory and Punktastic have a checkered past after the Aiden incident, but I can’t even imagine the street-team kids coming to Emmure’s defence. And if Victory are unhappy about this review then I do have one pointer for them: the day you stop signing shit like this is the day you might get another good review. Just a thought.
