Birth, Marriage? Death, More Amour
I can't knock this EP, it's very British-sounding, very modern sounding and very, well, good sounding. It's just not entirely my thing - More Amour do what they do well. Their last EP reminded me of Garrison, but this EP doesn't quite so much. The guitars actually reminded me of Alkaline Trio at times, that kind of buzzing sound they managed to get in the very early days. But the vocals are much more Johnny Borrell of Razorlight than Matt Skiba. More Amour are a difficult band to pigeonhole and that's a good thing. I can't deny they're a talented band, I just cannot say I like it as much as maybe some others would. Well worth checking out!
