Demo, Her:Enemy
Her:Enemy are a three piece hailing from Surrey and Hampshire. In places this demo really sounds like Reuben, especially in the vocal harmonies. Well, to be honest they reminded me of PT's very own The Misnomer, but I know they're heavily influenced by Reuben as well! With the likes of the Foos and Biffy Clyro also present in Her:Enemy's sound they're a band that pack a punch. The third track on this little EP is exceptional, really strong vocally, some fantastic drums and a really strong chorus. It's the band's best track, but the others here are pretty good too. There's a distinct Britishness in the vocals which is always a good thing and this carries on through every song. It's refreshing to hear a band that have power and poise and don't need to resort to screaming to get their point across. Her:Enemy are a very interesting prospect indeed.
