imageI read a comment on the Punktastic forums about this release and thought it summed it up perfectly. It read: "This is bonkers music." How true is that...

'Colors' is an amazing album. It's a record that's so ridiculously insane, so full of overblown metal and hardcore madness, that you just have to stop what you're doing and go 'wow'. It's pant-shittingly good. The basic premise is that 'Colors' is one 64-minute song broken up into eight tracks. It switches from the absolutely overblown to the stunningly simple in the blink of an eye. It's majestically beautiful and downright brutal in the space of 30 seconds. There's experimental parts and technical bits in equal measure. It's just a unique piece of music that astounds and intrigues - and it's bat-shit crazy at the same time. It may not suit everyone, but in terms of sheer musical brilliance, 'Colors' is one of the albums of the year.
