His Last Walk, Blessthefall
Imagine The Used mixed with something a bit harder and more aggressive - Misery Signals perhaps. That's about the best description of Blessthefall I can give without being horribly derogatory and OTT. It's more of the same metal influenced generic emo twaddle, obviously, throwing pop breakdowns over stylistic metal guitar solos which sound like Slash probably threw them on the floor. There are the more melodic parts - the vocals remind me of Bert McCracken in places - and there are more aggressive bits too. The electonic-laden 'Eyes Wide Shut' is one of the more interesting tracks, but on the whole this is pretty forgettable fare.
