All The Best Songs, No Use for a Name
image'All The Best Songs' is a rather aprt name for this best-of collection, bearing in mind it pretty much is the best No Use compilation you could put together. 26 tracks in total, including two new ones, this is the perfect introduction to anyone who isn't yet acquainted with the band and a very nice collector's piece for those already au fait with NUFAN. They're a band that I've been a fan of for many years now; I remember walking around my university campus in 1999 listening to 'Coming Too Close' and 'Justified Black Eye' and it doesn't seem like eight years have passed.

Perhaps not getting the credit as many of their peers have done, 'All The Best Songs' is a great reminder at just how good No Use were. Or are. There are so many good songs on here from all stages of the band's career - from the earlier more straight-up skate-punk efforts, to the slightly more considered approach adopted by the band last time round. 'Not Your Savior' is an all-time classic, 'Feeding The Fire' brilliant. Infact the only classic No Use track which isn't present is their 'Fairytale of New York' cover. Other than that, this is one of those 'must have' albums in any punk fan's collection. It's a celebration of a great band and one which deserve your attention.
