Our Long Distance Relationship EP, Coffee Cat
Apart from the relatively low quality of the recordings, this is actually a decent effort. While Coffee Cat are influenced by RX Bandits and Suicide Machines they also have a very relaxed Mad Caddies vibe to them as well. I don't have a tracklist to hand, but track 2 is especially good with a really nice mellow, slightly reggae-ish tinge. The brass is well used and well placed, and while the vocals could do with a little work - they're a little too rough for me to be honest - there's plenty of potential here. While ska-influenced bands seem to be on the wane, and this EP is far from finished, there's plenty of potential here.
