Turf Wars, Daggermouth
imageLike Set Your Goals? Love Daggermouth! Basically a more skate-punk version of our favourite popcore heroes, Daggermouth's latest album is a punk rock-fuelled blast of sub two minute songs that leaves you pumped with adrenalin and gagging for more. 'Turf Wars' is a great record, a little different to 'Stallone' which was also a fantastic record. Daggermouth have the ability to write catchy songs at breakneck speed - certainly a very good thing.

There are Crime In Stereo-esque riffs, Set Your Goals-esque gang vocals and lots of fun songs. I can imagine Daggermouth are an absolute riot live and these Canadians certainly manage to capture the energy and put it on record. Scene politics get mentioned a hell of a lot on this album, as do relationships, so if you can handle that you have an absolutely brilliant record that I am sure a lot more of you will be talking about very soon indeed...
